The Good:
* The new "Coach Mode" gives you another way to play.
* The "Road to Glory" now has boosts and unlockables, which keeps you pulled in as you try to improve and get coach's trust.
* New animations as you run with the ball and fight for those extra yards.
* New commentary and insights with Brad Nessler and Kirk Herbstreit and Erin Andrews on the sidelines.
* New college fan animations with signature mascots and props.
The Bad:
* Some loading screens can slow down the fast pace of your gameplay.
* Bring back Lee Corso!
The Bottom Line:
To keep up with the tradition and lack of competition, EA found a way once again to recycle most of the game from a year before and will probably get away with it. However, they did manage to add some features to keep you interested. The Road to Glory mode is now better than ever as you start out as a high school chump and need to become a 5-caliber player before deciding which school you want to play for. You can now play offense and defense if you wish(You can be a QB and DE, for example) and see which schools show interest for either position. As soon as you settle down on campus, that's when the fun begins. Before taking over school, you must unlock features by impressing your coach. During your first game, you will only be able to run the plays you are given. After each play, you either get a PLUS or MINUS score, based on the result of the play. Soon, you'll be able to flip plays and ultimately, if you are good enough, you will be able to audible any play as you earn coach's trust. However, you also earn experience points with which you can buy boosts for a game or your career!
Coach's mode puts you on a hot seat. Do well and good things will happen. If you don't do so well, you get demoted/fired. While not as fun as Road to Glory, this is still a nice feature for all of you strategists out there.
A note about online features: if you but a new game, you get a code, which can only be redeemed once. If you buy a USED game, make sure you inquire if the code has been already used. You can buy a new code separately for 800 MS points. Unlike last year, you only get a 2-day trial instead of 7-day trial.
Overall a solid choice and a must for a college football fan out there.

I absolutely love NCAA Football 12 and here is why I highly recommend the game:
"Dynasty Mode" was greatly improved from previous years. For the first time, you can start your coaching career as an Offensive Coordinator or Defensive Coordinator. I think this is a great addition to the game because it allows the user to fight for new coaching spots whether if your trying to be an offensive or defensive coordinator on a better team or even switch from being a coordinator to a head coach. This gives Dynasty Mode some added gameplay value. Also, the conferences can be edited to your liking. Other features I loved from previous NCAA Football games were all there (some improved).
"Coach a Game" Mode is a new addition to the series. You can use this mode to play an exhibition game between 2 teams and coach your team to victory. I love the view they use in this mode because it allows me to read the defense or offense. I also like how the user can call audibles, hot routes, hike the ball, etc.
The presentation looks great with improved lighting and authentic pre-game traditions. The lighting is noticeably better and the pre-game traditions look extremely cool. The traditions add an extra taste of NCAA Football to the game. The tackling is improved with a new collision and tackling system. The tackles seem a lot more realistic and defenders will even do lunges to take someone down (instead of wrapping up the ball carrier).
You can now create your very own playbook, which is very easy to use and allows users to utilize personal strategies more easily. You can also edit coaches which I don't find that interesting because I like my coaches to be the current staff.
I played a few online games and I had no problems with any of the features including an "Online Dynasty Mode" (single or multiplayer). The Road to Glory Mode now allows the user to play high school seasons. Older games only allowed the user to play in the high school playoffs, but now you can be high school seasons and work even harder to get recruited by top-ranked teams. Road to Glory Mode also had it's presentation improved with a much more realistic high school field. Giving this mode the added high school seasons will giver the user much more replay value.
Overall, I would highly recommend this game to any NCAA Football Fan. NCAA Football mainly focused on expanding current game modes as well as improving the NCAA atmosphere in the game. As an owner of NCAA Football 11, I would still highly recommend NCAA Football 12 because of all the improvements in the game. I hope this review helps!

Ps. I pre-ordered this game from Amazon and received $20 free store credit. What a great deal! I recommend looking on Amazon to pre-order games in the future to see if they offer any free store credit. :)

This game is the same as years before it. Very difficult to complete a pass, kick off run backs are just too hard to get passed the 20yd line.
Presentation is good and graphics are good as well. EA still have control of how many passes you can complete, fumbles you will have, how many INT you will have, and so on.
This game could have been a great game but there are just too many unfair settings against you.
If you have a player with great speed on a so called poor team, EA setup makes sure that that player run much slower against those so called better teams.
Often time's players on poor team run backward or sideways so good team can stop you. thanks to EA unfair settings.
These issues is also visible in madden10, 11, and will be visible in madden 12.
I would not pay 64.00 for this game or madden12 as well. I also did not buy M11.
Wait and read the review and wait until the price is cheaper.
